Cognita is a network of schools that spans the globe – from Europe to Latin America to South-East Asia. With Forsta’s help, it created a program to hear and harness the voices of parents across different regions and languages.

Capturing parent voices across regions
With schools all over the world, Cognita’s challenge was designing a program that could do the little and the large: capture global trends, and let each school tune into the views and voices of its own parents.

Our solution
A global program with local flex
Cognita teamed up with Forsta to design a Voice of Parent program that struck the right balance between local relevance and global consistency. Surveys that checked in with parents at key moments were translated and adapted to suit different regions.
Results flowed in real-time into dashboards tailored to different Cognita users, so they could get the big picture or the fine detail, depending on who they were and what they needed to know.

Parents speak. Things happen.
The program has given Cognita’s decision-makers a live feed of parent opinion, so they know what’s working, what’s lacking, and what needs action – fast. From meals to transport, schools have been able to make changes where it matters to parents and measure the difference using real-time metrics. Building on its success with Forsta, Cognita now casts its net even wider, capturing children’s and teachers’ voices with Voice of Student and Voice of Employee programs. Together, they make Cognita’s one of the most wide-ranging and ambitious education feedback program ever undertaken.
